Welcome to the original website for my small business. This was intended as the home of Deeproot Gardening, but over the years the business has diversified and my flagship project is now the development of Deeproot Plant Base, a plant encyclopeadia database application for Windows PCs. As Deeproot Software we provide a number of IT related services such as web authoring and bespoke programming for small database systems. For local customers we also perform PC repairs, upgrades and small network support. In most cases the software services are closely releated to the core product, our plant database, which can be adapted to suit the specific needs of clients. The development of Plant Base combines many years of experience in the IT industry with a life-long passion for plants that led to working as a garden designer and landscaper. There are a number of good plant information applications on the market. I believe that Deeproot Plant Base offers users a genuine choice option. It is designed as a straightforward, workman-like program, which can become a valuable tool for anyone with an enthusiastic interest in the plant world and a wish to take advantage of modern technology.
